Mark A. Cenicola, aka “Coach C,” currently coaches girls/women’s basketball. Inspired by his daughter, he helps empower women and girls via sports by combining his multi-sport coaching background and leadership experience as a business CEO since the age of 19. His motto is “translating boardroom success to the court and vice versa.”

Coach C has both companies and basketball teams from scratch, including the AAU/Club basketball team, BV Basketball. He previously played baseball and managed a baseball team consisting of former college and minor league players. He has coached athletes as young as 10 to 40 years old.

His day job is running BannerView.com, a Cenicola-Helvin Enterprise Brand in which he serves as Chairman, President & CEO.

Throughout his career as a coach and CEO, Coach C has mastered numerous responsibilities from recruiting and managing people; networking and building relationships within a community; raising funds both for and not for profit initiatives; developing brand awareness and strategic partnerships to serving on boards of multiple organizations.

His leadership coaching style creates an environment that fosters collaboration, open communication, and trust. His experience with recruiting, managing and coaching athletes ranging from middle school girls basketball players all the way through to post college and professional baseball players, brings to his organizations firsthand knowledge of the nuances and dynamics of coaching athletes. Setting himself apart with having experienced athletics at the college level plus coaching and managing both male and female athletes across sports, he understands the unique challenges top athletes face both on and off the field.

Strategic planning and decision-making are paramount in both business and sports. As a CEO, he has been responsible for analyzing market trends, identifying opportunities, and formulating effective strategies. In his coaching experience, he has crafted game plans, adjusted strategies on the fly, and made critical decisions to gain a competitive edge. This unique blend of acumen from the boardroom to the court equips him with the ability handle many diverse situations.

He holds an Associate of Applied Science in Computer Information Systems, graduating Summa Cum Laude from Snow College and also graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor Degree in General Studies from Southern Utah University.
